When you begin searching the MLS for homes, there a few key tasks you will use on a regular basis, as well as some little know n features of the MLS shown below. Here's some step-by-step guide on how to use the MLS effectively.

Profile Optimization and Branding

Optimizing your profile with your personal brand is essential to creating value with your clients. Completing your information in the MLS "my information" section is important for your branding purposes, and for your clients to always have immediate access to you with your perosnal information shown on anything you send to them. 


Search The mls

Step 1: Go to www.MFRMLS.com

Step 2: Click the Matrix button 

Step 3: Hover over "search" >> "residential" >> "detail"

Step 4: Enter criteria based on your client's needs

Step 5: Click "results" on the bottom left


 

Listings Auto Email Setup

Step 1: Hover over "search" >> "open house"

Step 2: Enter the range of dates and zip code(s) of interest

Step 3: Leave price point open

Step 4: Enter the range of dates

Step 5: Click "results" on the bottom left

Step 6: Send to your client


 

Email Open House Events

Step 1: Hover over "search" >> "open house"

Step 2: Enter the range of dates and zip code(s) of interest
